Editorial Collaborations
What Is A Styled Shoot?
A styled shoot is a professionally produced wedding editorial created by a team of planners, photographers, venues and specialist suppliers. Rather than designing for a real couple, the team develops a creative concept together, allowing new ideas, materials and details to be explored and photographed.
For us, these collaborations are an opportunity to develop stationery concepts with a strong sense of place and to explore ideas that can later inspire our destination wedding and private event work.
We take part selectively, focusing on editorials that align with the work we want to create more of, particularly destination weddings, luxury venues and thoughtfully developed concepts where the stationery forms an integral part of the overall creative direction.
Featured Editorial · Blenheim Palace
A Regal Spring Editorial
Created for a styled shoot at Blenheim Palace, this suite explored a softer interpretation of regal wedding design through handmade paper, botanical drawing and a spring palette of blush, dusky pink and pale blue. The design incorporated drawn botanical crests, hand lettered details and a Monet envelope liner, and the editorial was later published by WedLuxe.

Set against the old world architecture and lakeside setting of Villa Pizzo, this editorial explored a romantic destination wedding aesthetic shaped by the character of Lake Como. The stationery was designed to sit naturally within the setting, with soft, refined details that complemented the villa rather than competing with it.

Styled Shoot · Villa Bettoni, Italy
Light & Airy Romance
Created for a shoot at Villa Bettoni, this stationery direction was intentionally soft, elegant and airy, reflecting the villa’s refined architecture and romantic atmosphere.
The design combined an ornate gold foil illustration, embossed line detail and fine digital print, all kept within a palette of off whites, blush tones and a subtle hint of gold.
The result felt light, feminine and timeless, sitting naturally among the decorative details and grandeur of Villa Bettoni itself.

Soft, airy stationery with gold foil and embossed detail, created for a Villa Bettoni editorial in Italy.
Created for a colourful rooftop editorial in Florence, this stationery suite took a much bolder direction, combining handmade paper, hand painted floral details and ornate gold foiled illustration.
Embossed and foiled place cards, loose floral painting and rich colour brought a playful sense of movement to the design, while still keeping the overall finish refined and appropriate for a destination wedding in Florence.

Editorial · Avington Park, Hampshire
French Blue In The English Countryside
Created for an editorial at Avington Park, this stationery suite drew on the house’s French inspired architecture and opulent interiors, combining white deckled edge handmade paper with French blue ink and refined gold details.
Gold leaf place cards, elegant tassels, embroidered napkins and personalised silk velvet ribbons extended the design beyond paper, creating a layered tablescape that felt romantic, tactile and suited to the grandeur of the setting.

Creative Exploration
What Styled Shoots Let Us Explore
Styled editorials give us the freedom to explore materials, techniques and ideas beyond the requirements of a single commission, while still creating work that feels relevant to real destination weddings and private events.
They allow us to develop a visual language around a venue, location or creative concept, and to see how stationery can become part of a much wider design story.
Illustration
Venue drawings, botanical details, architectural motifs and hand painted artwork developed around the setting.
Paper & Print
Handmade paper, deckled edges, letterpress, embossing, foil and tactile finishes chosen to suit the concept.
Calligraphy
Hand lettered details used across place cards, envelopes, menus and personalised elements.
Textiles & Embroidery
Silk ribbon, embroidered napkins and fabric details that carry the identity beyond paper.
Colour & Material
An opportunity to test richer palettes, unusual combinations and materials in a considered way.
A Sense Of Place
Design developed around the architecture, landscape and atmosphere of a particular venue or destination.
We collaborate selectively on styled shoots with planners, photographers, venues and creative teams whose aesthetic aligns with the work we want to create more of.
The strongest collaborations are those with a clear concept, a strong sense of place and enough time for the stationery to be developed as part of the creative direction rather than added at the final stage.

A Strong Concept
A considered visual direction, story or setting that gives the stationery something meaningful to respond to.
The Right Setting
We are particularly interested in destination weddings, luxury venues and editorials with a clear sense of place.
Time To Develop
We ask for a minimum of two months’ notice so there is enough time to develop, produce and finish the stationery properly.
