One Story, Told Well
What Wedding Branding Means
Wedding branding is the art of telling your story through design, creating a visual identity that carries through every part of your celebration. From the wedding invitations to the details your guests encounter on the day, every piece carries a feeling, and that feeling begins long before they arrive.
Good design speaks. It captures something of who you are and gives your guests a sense of the celebration to come. It invites them into your world and asks them to slow down, notice the details and enjoy the experience.
Many of our couples choose to marry far from home, in places selected with care: a villa overlooking an Italian lake, a chateau in France, a country house in the English countryside. For us, the design often begins there, with the destination, the setting and the people at the heart of it.
We create bespoke wedding branding that goes far beyond placing a monogram across a collection of items. Instead, we develop one considered visual story told through paper, illustration, typography, colour, texture and movement.
That identity can begin with your save the date or wedding invitation and continue through your wedding stationery, signage, menus, printed details, digital elements and the wider visual world of the celebration.
Whether your wedding lasts for one evening or unfolds over several days, every element should feel connected. From the first envelope your guests open to the final detail they encounter, the experience should feel unmistakably yours.
Your guests should feel as though they have stepped into your world. The invitation gives them their first glimpse of it, and the celebration brings that world to life.
Where It Starts
How A Wedding Design Begins
Every wedding design begins with questions. What inspired your wedding? What is your story as a couple? What do you love, what feels like you, and how do you want your guests to feel when they step into the room?
The answers matter more than any brief. They reveal who you are and help shape the feeling of the celebration long before we draw a single line.
Then we turn to your venue. Many of our couples marry somewhere with a history: a villa on an Italian lake, a chateau in France, a manor house in the English countryside, a grand London hotel. You chose that place for a reason, and that choice says something about you.
History matters to us. A building carries its own story through its architecture, gardens, colours and the art on its walls. You bring yours. The most interesting wedding designs happen where those two stories meet.
From there, we look for the details that belong to you both: a motif from the venue, a pattern inspired by a fresco, the shape of a gate, the colour of the stone. These details begin to form the visual language of your wedding.
Only then do we begin to draw. By the time your first proof reaches you, every element on the page has a reason to be there.

Looking Closely
Where Our Wedding Design Inspiration Comes From
Inspiration rarely begins with wedding design itself. It comes from looking at everything around us: antique artwork, architecture, botanical illustration, the colour of old stone, the shape of an ironwork gate.
We are drawn to the Renaissance and Baroque, to Rococo ornament and the artistry of centuries past. We love chic minimalism too, particularly when it sits within an ornate room, where the contrast makes both feel more striking.
Often, the venue gives us the first thread. A pattern found in a fresco, a statue in the gardens, artwork above a fireplace, the weathered colour of an old wall, these details can become the starting point for an entire wedding design.
Sometimes the inspiration comes from you. For a wedding at Euridge Manor, the groom had a tattoo inspired by a satyr and nymph statue. That one personal detail became the thread running through an entire wedding week, expressed through Greek mythology, Rococo florals and a pastel palette that evolved with each celebration.
Sometimes the design responds to something already decided. At Villa Pizzo on Lake Como, the floral palette came first, so we developed the stationery around it, using texture and a gatefold format that opened like a doorway into the celebration.
We look for the unexpected too: original shapes, intricate cuts, layered textures and details that feel entirely considered. The pieces people remember are rarely the ones they have seen before.

Three Days In The English Countryside
Kim And Michael At Euridge Manor

The first inspiration, an antique satyr and nymph statue

Kim and Michael married at Euridge Manor, a Cotswold house surrounded by topiary, roses and a ruined chapel. Their celebration ran across three days, so the design had to hold together while giving each day its own character.
The theme was Satyr and Nymph, magical and mythical. Among the first inspiration images was an antique photograph of a satyr and nymph statue, and that piece of sculpture became the thread running through everything we drew. Greek mythology shaped the rest: statues, busts and figurines, set against the untamed beauty of the English countryside.
Each day carried its own palette, so every celebration felt distinct. The wedding day itself was pale pink, soft and ethereal against the green of the gardens.
The piece we are proudest of is the menu. Die cut into a shaped silhouette, illustrated with the statue itself and finished with a name card tied in ribbon. The same motif was engraved onto antique keys, so it appeared again in the guests’ hands.

The crest came first, the toile grew from it
Rachel and Sam wanted an English classical wedding, chic and noble. Sam’s own style is traditional English gentleman, and The Ned suits him exactly: stylish, elegant, and grand in stature.
The palette came from the English countryside and from the building itself, greens and whites against marble and dark wood.
They asked for a crest with botanicals in it, so we drew that first. Their monogram sits inside a green shield, wrapped in flowers and foliage drawn by hand.
The toile came next. Once the crest existed, we grew a floral pattern from the same drawing, and that pattern left the paper entirely. It wrapped the champagne bar, ran across the dance floor and rose up the panels behind the band, with the monogram standing at the centre of the stage.

A Villa On An Italian Lake
A Wedding At Villa Pizzo, Lake Como

Statues in the gardens above the lake

Villa Pizzo sits on the western shore of Lake Como, with terraced gardens running down to the water. The couple wanted handmade paper and floral illustration, and a suite that felt like the garden they were marrying in.
Here the design followed something already decided. The floral palette came first, chosen with the florist, so we built the stationery around those colours rather than setting our own.
Texture mattered as much as colour. Handmade paper with a deckled edge, soft under the hand, with the illustration printed so the surface still shows through.
The piece we are proudest of is the gatefold. It opens like a door onto the day, and the flowers drawn across it are the same ones the couple walked through on the terrace.

Wedding Branding Questions
How do you begin a wedding design?
Every design begins with questions: what inspired your wedding, what your story is, and how you want your guests to feel. Then we look at your venue, since most couples choose somewhere with a history, and the most interesting designs happen where the building’s story and yours meet.
What is wedding branding?
Wedding branding is one design identity for your whole wedding. It starts with a monogram, a crest and a pattern, drawn by hand for you. That identity then runs across your stationery, your website, your signage and your decor.
What does a wedding identity include?
Your identity includes your monogram, your crest, a repeating pattern, a colour palette in Pantone and CMYK references, and your typefaces. You receive print ready and digital artwork, plus a short guide for your suppliers.
How much does wedding branding cost?
The price depends on which services you choose and how many pieces you need. Send us a short enquiry first and, if the project feels like a good fit, we will guide you through the next steps before preparing a proposal with the full scope and price.
Do we need every service?
No. Many couples start with a monogram and crest, then add the pieces that matter most to them. Others take the whole identity from save the date to signage.
How far in advance should we book?
Book as early as you can, ideally before your save the dates go out. That way your identity appears on every piece, starting with the first one your guests receive.
Can you match stationery we already have?
Yes. We can draw an identity that sits well with invitations you already own, then carry it through to your day of stationery, signage and decor.
Do you work with our wedding planner?
Yes. We work alongside your planner, florist and venue. We send them your artwork and a short guide, so every supplier applies your identity correctly.
Do you design for destination weddings?
Yes. We design for luxury and destination weddings worldwide, working with couples, planners and venues across Europe and beyond.
How many revisions are included?
Three rounds of revisions are included on your identity design, so the artwork lands exactly where you want it before anything goes to print.
Is our wedding website private?
Yes. We keep your wedding website out of search engines, so only guests with the link can find it.
