How To Order Your Semi-Custom Invitations
Ordering your semi-custom wedding invitations is a simple and enjoyable process. Here is how it works from your first enquiry to your finished suite arriving at your door.
Browse & Enquire
Browse our nine collections and use this guide to explore the paper types, printing methods and embellishments available. Once you have a feel for what you would like, complete our semi-custom enquiry form with your wedding details, chosen collection, preferred package and any specific requirements. We reply to every enquiry within 24 to 48 hours.
Receive & Approve Your Proposal
We will send you a personalised proposal with full pricing for your suite. We will refine it together until you are completely happy. Once approved and your deposit is paid, your order is confirmed and we will send you a design questionnaire to gather all the information we need to personalise your suite, including your wording, colour choices, paper selection and embellishments.
Design & Proofing
Within 7 days of receiving your completed questionnaire we will send you digital proofs showing your entire suite with your personalised details. You will have the opportunity to review everything and request any changes. We include complimentary revision rounds in all packages to ensure every detail is exactly right. Design and proofing typically takes 2 to 3 weeks in total.
Print & Deliver
Once your final proof is approved production begins. Your suite takes 2 to 3 weeks to print and produce depending on the paper and printing methods selected. Handmade paper items may take a little longer. Once complete your order is carefully packaged and shipped to you worldwide via DHL Express with full tracking. UK orders arrive within 1 working day and international orders within 2 to 4 working days.

Invitation Suites
Allow 5 to 7 Weeks
Design & Proofing
First proof within 5 working days of receiving your details. Amendments take 3 working days each. Allow 2 to 3 weeks in total for this stage.
Print & Production
2 to 3 weeks to print your order. Handmade paper items may take longer. We will confirm your timeline once your order is placed.
When To Order
We recommend ordering your invitations 6 to 8 months before your wedding date to allow time for production, posting to guests and receiving RSVPs.

Shipping
All orders are shipped worldwide via DHL Express. UK orders arrive within 1 working day. International orders arrive within 2 to 4 working days depending on your location. Once your order is shipped you will receive full tracking details so you can follow your invitations every step of the way.

The paper you choose sets the tone for your entire suite. We offer four paper types, each creating a distinct and beautiful result. All are available in A5, A6 and A7 sizes.
Classic Handmade Paper
320gsm Ivory
Our most loved paper. A beautiful ivory handmade paper with a naturally uneven texture and stunning deckled edges. Warm and artisan in feel, it is perfect for letterpress and foil printing and gives your suite an unmistakable heirloom quality.
White Handmade Paper
320gsm White
A smooth crisp white handmade paper with soft natural deckled edges. Slightly more contemporary in feel than our ivory option, it works beautifully with both bold and delicate designs and is ideal for couples wanting a clean fresh aesthetic.
Heavy Weight Premium Card
540gsm | Multiple Colours
A substantial heavy weight card stock with perfectly straight edges, available in a range of colours. The ideal choice for foil and letterpress printing, it gives a clean precise result and feels wonderfully weighty and luxurious in the hand.
Medium Weight Premium Card
350gsm | Multiple Colours
A versatile medium weight card stock with straight clean edges, available in a range of colours. Perfect for digital printing and a great option for couples looking for a beautifully finished result at a more accessible price point.
The Art Of Fine Printing
Printing Methods
Each printing method creates a distinct and beautiful effect. Your chosen package determines which techniques are available to you, and higher tiers allow you to combine methods for a truly layered and luxurious result.
Hot Foil Stamping
A metallic or pigmented foil is applied to the paper using heat and pressure, creating a lustrous reflective finish that catches the light beautifully. Available on all paper types. We offer the following foil colours:

A beautiful deep impression is pressed into the paper creating a tactile result you can feel with your fingertips. Available on all paper types in a range of ink colours. We can also match to additional colours on request:

Calligraphy Styles
We offer three calligraphy styles for envelope addressing, each available in any ink colour including metallic shades and white. Calligraphy can be added to guest names and addresses on outer envelopes and inner envelopes. If you prefer not to use calligraphy we also offer digital font addressing.
Le Paradis
Modern and elegant with minimal loops and light delicate thick and thin lines. An airy and spaced out script style that gives a loose and relaxed feel. Perfect for couples wanting a contemporary yet refined look.
Signature
The signature modern calligraphy style with billowy loops and distinctive thick and thin lines. Full of personality and movement, this is our most popular style and works beautifully with both classic and contemporary invitation designs.
Classical
Traditional copperplate calligraphy that gives a classic and formal look and feel. Precise, elegant and timeless, this style is ideal for couples planning more formal or traditional celebrations and pairs beautifully with letterpress printing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship worldwide to couples planning weddings across Europe and beyond. Most of our clients are based outside the UK so this is very much part of how we work. All orders are sent via DHL Express and once your order is shipped you will receive full tracking details and delivery notifications.
Do I have to order a full package or can I order individual items?
You do not have to order a full package. Our packages are designed to offer the best value for a complete suite, but we are equally happy to create individual items from any collection. Whether you just need invitation cards and envelopes, a set of menus, place cards or table numbers, simply let us know in your enquiry and we will put together a personalised quote for exactly what you need.
When should I order my invitations?
We recommend ordering your invitations 6 to 8 months before your wedding date. This gives plenty of time for production, posting to guests and receiving RSVPs. For save the dates we recommend ordering 10 to 12 months ahead, and at least 12 months in advance for destination weddings. On the day stationery should be ordered 5 to 6 weeks before your wedding date. Please see our full timelines guide above for more detail.
I need a rush order, can you help?
We will always do our best to help if your timeline is tight. Please mention your required delivery date in your enquiry and we will let you know if we can accommodate it. Please note that a rush fee may apply for orders with shorter than standard production timelines.
What wording do I need for my invitations?
We completely understand that invitation wording can feel overwhelming, especially if you have never done this before. Once your order is confirmed we will guide you through every element of your wording and help you get it exactly right. We are happy to advise on wording etiquette, format and layout and will never leave you to figure it out alone.
Will I see a proof of my design before printing?
Absolutely. We provide detailed digital proofs showing realistic visuals of your entire suite before anything goes to print. You will have the opportunity to review everything carefully and request any changes. The number of complimentary revision rounds included depends on your chosen package. We will never begin printing until you have given your written sign off on the final proof.
How many invitations should I order?
You only need one invitation suite per household, not per guest. For a wedding of 100 guests we typically recommend ordering 75 to 85 suites. Always order a few extras for last minute additions, keepsakes and your wedding photographer. It is much more cost effective to order a slightly larger quantity upfront than to reprint a small additional run later.
