Luxury wedding stationery designers book up quickly. At Babooche Calligraphy we accept only 15 bespoke commissions each year, so early enquiry is essential. This is the ideal time to send us your wedding date, venue and initial plans so we can review availability and guide you towards the most suitable next step.

Order Your Invitation Suite
Finalise and place your invitation suite order including the main invitation, RSVP card, details card, envelope liners and wax seals. Allow 6 to 8 weeks for design, proofing, production and delivery. Post your invitations 4 to 6 months before your wedding date.
3 to 4 Months Before Your Wedding
Order Your On The Day Stationery
Once your RSVPs are in and guest numbers confirmed, order your on the day stationery including menus, place cards, table numbers, ceremony programs, wedding fans and signage. These are produced to your exact guest count so confirmed numbers are essential before ordering.
After Your Wedding
Thank You Cards
A beautifully designed thank you card is a wonderful way to express your gratitude to guests and carry your wedding aesthetic through one final keepsake. We recommend sending these within 4 to 6 weeks of your wedding date.

When should I order my wedding stationery?
For bespoke invitation suites we recommend booking 9 to 12 months before your wedding date, with invitations posted 4 to 6 months ahead. Save the dates should be sent 12 to 14 months before the wedding, particularly for destination weddings. On the day stationery should be ordered 3 to 4 months before the wedding once your final guest numbers are confirmed.
Do you create wedding stationery for destination weddings?
Yes, destination weddings are our speciality. We work with couples from around the world planning weddings in Italy, France, the UK and beyond. Our entire process is conducted remotely via video consultation, email and digital proofs, so distance is never a barrier. We ship worldwide and have created stationery for weddings at venues including Villa Pizzo on Lake Como, Château de Chantilly in France, Villa Corsini in Florence and Kenwood House in London.
What printing techniques do you use for luxury wedding stationery?
We specialise in letterpress printing, hot foil stamping in gold, silver, copper and rose gold, embossing, debossing and fine art digital printing on handmade paper.
